The starting stock for any in-house ID programme: blank white PVC cards for direct-to-card printing, NFC cards for tap-to-app use, and 125kHz / MIFARE / DESFire proximity cards for access control.

Matching the chip to your reader

Access control cards must match the technology your reader expects — check whether it's 125kHz (older PAC/HID), 13.56MHz MIFARE/DESFire (Salto, Paxton Net2) or NTAG NFC. If you're unsure, send us a photo of the reader and we'll point you at the right card.
