Event & Conference Lanyards

Order early enough that the lanyard is nobody's problem

Standard turnaround is about a week once the proof is approved. A brand new design adds a day or two of back-and-forth before that. So three weeks out is comfortable and two is fine. If the conference is a week on Thursday, put the date in the enquiry. Rush production in 3–4 working days is usually possible and we will confirm it for your order before you pay anything, not after.

Colour by role

Most organisers arrive at the same idea eventually: one artwork, several colours of strap. Delegates on the event colour. Speakers on a second. Crew on a third, press on a fourth. The door team can read a lanyard across a hall and nobody squints at a badge. Each colour is its own print run, so the 30 minimum applies per colour. For anything bigger than a workshop that is rarely a problem.

Sponsors

Both sides are printed. The event mark goes on one, the headline sponsor on the other. A lanyard is the one piece of branding every attendee wears from the coffee to the taxi, and sponsors have noticed. Send their artwork with your own and it all goes on the same proof.

Passes and holders in the same box

A lanyard is half of what hangs around a delegate's neck. We print event passes and supply the card holders as well, so the pass, the holder and the strap arrive together and already matched. That is one fewer thing to assemble in a hotel corridor at seven in the morning. Ask for them in the enquiry and they go on the same quote.

Afterwards

Dye-sub lanyards are reusable and plenty of annual events order without a date on the strap for that reason. If it is a one-day fundraiser and the lanyards are going in a bin at five o'clock, ask about recycled paper. If the organisation has a sustainability line to hold, rPET webbing prints identically to standard and costs a little more per lanyard.
